Israel Creates Fake Muslim NGO to Ethnically-Cleanse Gazans

South Africa detained a planeload of Gazans earlier this month, who mysteriously landed at  Johannesburg airport without any travel documents. Israeli journalists began probing how this happened (Hebrew) and who organized it.  What they found was exceedingly devious, but characteristic of the underhanded protocols of the IDF and its intelligence branch.

They discovered that an Israeli-Estonian living in London, Tomer Janar Lind, created an Estonian consulting firm, Talent Globus, which in turn created a fake Muslim NGO named al Majd, whose alleged mission was to rescue Muslim refugees from conflict zones.

It then approached the Defense Ministry’s “Office for Voluntary Migration” which directed it to COGAT, the IDF unit which administers Israel’s occupation regime in Gaza and the West Bank.  The latter facilitated the logistics for the flights including ground transportation, flights and a few days lodging where the refugees were “dumped.”

In a highly unusual manner, the travelers passed through the Kerem Shalom crossing and were bused to Eilat’s Ramon airport.  They boarded a flight not knowing what would be their final destination. The South African flight went by way of Nairobi, then to Johannesburg.  A different flight went to Budapest and then on to Malaysia and Singapore.

It’s now known that the the first flights went to Indonesia as early as May.  However, that country denies that it facilitated or accepted such refugees.  Similarly, it may be no accident that Indonesia has become the first Muslim country to pledge troops (20,000) to the so-called International Stabilization Force. This appears to indicate it was also willing to participate in the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their homeland, and did so secretly, as did the two other Asian Muslim countries. These countries have not announced whether they knew of the flights beforehand nor what has happened to the passengers after they landed.

COGAT claims that destination countries were apprised of the flights and passengers in advance.  Though this was clearly not the case with South Africa. That country appears to have been deceived, when it was told that the passengers intended to visit the country for less than 90 days, meaning they would not need visas.

The Office for Voluntary Migration was established via a March 2025 security cabinet directive approving the expulsion effort. It’s reminiscent of Nazi efforts before 1943 to encourage emigration of German Jews.  Subsequently they adopted an extermination policy at the Wannsee Conference.  Israel has not (yet) proceeded to this phase in its plan to eradicate any Palestinian presence.

It’s no accident that Al Majd’s website went online in February, one month before the government operation. This points to an operation devised and managed by the defense ministry or a state intelligence agency.  Lind appears to be a convenient freelance operative offering the real entities plausible deniability.

Al Majd essentially does not exist. It claims to have been founded in Germany, with offices in East Jerusalem. There, it purports to be based in Sheikh Jarrah. But there is no evidence of it there.  Nor is any NGO by that name registered in Germany.  Links on its social media pages are broken. It maintains a fake donation page. Since there is no NGO, presumably any funds given go directly into Lind’s pocket.  Hopefully, no one has been fooled into doing so.

The website claims Al Majd was founded in 2010.  Though it’s website went online only a few months ago. So all its claims concerning previous rescue operations in Turkey, Syria and elsewhere are fake as well. The group claims to have two “project managers,” one of whom, Adnan, purportedly emigrated from Gaza.  There is no online presence for such a person.

This is not a one-person operation. Lind is not acting alone. There are too many moving parts for that.  In fact, it has all the hallmarks of an Israeli intelligence plot. I asked an Israeli security official for comment and he declined to do so.

A South African NGO official said:

“It is clear to us that Al-Majd is a front for the Israeli state and the Israeli intelligence, and is a project to aid in the ethnic cleansing of Gaza.”

Another South African activist called the operation a “form of human trafficking,” because none of the refugees knew where they were going. Though they were offered hotel accommodations at their destination, after a week the NGO disappeared, abandoning them without lodging, funds or any other form of support.

The group recruited its Gaza refugee/victims via social media posts.  After they provided personal details they were instructed to transfer from $1,400-5,000 per person to the NGO (though some funds landed in personal accounts).  There was no direct interaction at any time with any Muslim staff. In fact, all interactions and communication happened via Whatsapp text messaging. They believed the person they were texting was a Palestinian from Gaza.

Worth noting, that previous Israeli schemes for ethnically cleansing Gazans have suggested relocating them to Muslim countries. Among those suggested were Singapore and Malaysia.

Ironically, Boston Consulting and a far-right Israeli think tank proposed an incentive payment of $10,000 to every Palestinian leaving Gaza. It estimated the total cost for 500,000 recipients would be $5-billion.  Of course, none of it to come from Israel. It would pawn off the deal on Arab states like Saudi Arabia, who would presumably pay for its crimes. The “brilliance” of the Al Majd operation is that the expelees themselves paid for their own ethnic-cleansing!
