  1. And what is forgotten among all the hours and days and years of phoney rhetoric is that it is quite legal for any occupied people to resist by all means possible that occupation – including what was intended as a raid to snatch a few soldiers to stop Saudi signing the Abraham accords (they were never going to), and to stop the increased violence in the West Bank – Israel slaughtered their own as an excuse to commit genocide.

  2. To put it mildly, 10/7—just like 9/11 before it—provided the casus belli that the radical forces, who want to redraw borders by the sword, had been longing for.
Without being able to prove it definitively, but based on a great deal of circumstantial evidence, my instinct tells me that Ismaele is right. It was allowed to happen intentionally—and very likely even encouraged.
What stayed with me for a long time after Netanyahu’s UN speech was the phrase “moral cowards,” which he used to label the political representatives who had walked out of the assembly. I think this offers a deep insight into his mind. Anyone who does not accept genocide as the right of the stronger—as a natural given—is a “moral coward.” That’s enough to send a shiver down your spine. You find yourself wishing he’d get a taste of his own medicine.

  3. I cannot believe that 3 years afterwards we are still discussing whether 7th October was a LIHOP (Let It Happen On Purpose) or not. Yes, it was: link to geopolitiq.substack.com
And I cannot comprehend how everyone is amazed by recent revelations that Egypt and UAE warned Netanyahu just before 7th October 2023, when news about Egypt informing Netanyahu about an upcoming terrorist attack came up soon after Operation al-Aqsa Flood on 7th October 2023 – see for instance these articles from The Times of Israel (9th October 2023) and from BBC (12th October 2023):
