Ever since reading Reagan’s eloquent denunciation of the mixture of religion and politics which he delivered as part of his eulogy for his dad, I’d been thinking Reagan would make a great Democratic Congressional candidate from California. Could be that someone in the Kerry campaign is thinking the same way I am. My post about Reagan’s eulogy is at Reagans Turn Their Wrath on Bush.
I think the Dems have now nicely one-upped the Repubs who recruited Zell Miller to speak at their Convention. Zell Miller is on the road to political oblivion, while let’s hope Ron Reagan is on the road to political stardom.
