I’m really honored that Robert Scoble, Microsoft’s blogging guru, linked to my post about ActiveWords. But he made a small boo boo. Here’s the link to his post: ActiveWords: Cool Windows Tool (from: Richard Silverstein). In this post, he quotes the beginning of my post but neglects to provide any link to it for folks who wish to read the rest. He provides a “More” link, but it doesn’t link to my post, it links instead to ActiveWords site. I’m guessing that he meant to link to my post, but instead linked to AW.
Scoble doesn’t believe in providing ways for his readers to contact him directly (somewhat understandable considering that he’d probably be innundated by correspondence). It also appears that he’s turned off his comment feature while he’s on vacation so no one can leave him a comment. If anyone reading this knows how to contact him, could you let me know? I wouldn’t mind actually gaining a few readers/visitors from his post.
I didn’t turn off comments. And my email address is listed on my blog for all to use: robertscoble@hotmail.com.
Unfortunately my link blog is automatically done, so can’t change that link. I’ll link to you from my main blog. Not sure why that went wrong.
Sorry, Robert for getting my info wrong. I guess the server handling your comments happened to be in a weird mode when I tried to leave one on your site (& failed several times). As for the e mail address, I looked painstakingly through both of your sites & couldn’t find it. Guess I missed it.
Thanks for replying here & thanks again for finding my blog worthy of linking.
