At the 1942 Wansee Conference, Hitler devised his Final Solution to the Jewish Problem (in German: Endlösung der Judenfrage): extermination of the Jewish race (as the Nazis used the term). It resulted in the mass murder of 6-million of Europe’s 9.5-million Jews. The masterminds of this atrocity were tried in the Nuremberg Tribunal, many of them executed for their crimes.
Fast forward to 2025, Israel has perpetrated a genocide in Gaza that has exterminated–according to a projection of direct and ancillary deaths–as of December 2024, 335,000 people. In the five months since then, that number has likely risen considerably.
Despite arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court chief prosecutor, for Bibi Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, they remain free. In fact, both have traveled to countries which are ICC signatories without hindrance. This has made a mockery of the international justice system, and destroyed much of its credibility and functionality.
The ICC was established as a successor to Nuremberg, in order to hold leaders accountable for crimes like those perpetrated by the Nazis. But unlike the German prosecutions, the ICC has proved itself toothless. As a result, genocides in Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Rwanda, Ukraine (Putin has been indicted by the ICC), have gone unpunished. The only criminal leader who has faced accountability is Rodrigo Duterte of the Philipines. But that is because the country’s current political leaders handed him over to the ICC. The others have acted with impunity and gotten away with it.
All this is prelude to a far greater crime planned by Netanyahu:
[The] plan…[calls for] gradually reoccupying all of Gaza and holding it indefinitely…Plans for the operation call for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to flatten any buildings that remain standing and displace virtually the entire population of 2 million people to a single “humanitarian area.”
Haaretz warns of the foolhardiness of the plan:
Let me be blunt: We are marching into another disaster in the Gaza Strip…It is doubtful…that it will achieve a decisive defeat of Hamas.
…It is highly doubtful whether anyone in the room [cabinet meeting]…was truly deluding themselves about the results of the new operation…If we had hooked them up to a polygraph, we would probably have discovered that most of the [IDF] officers, and even most of the Likud ministers, don’t believe the plan will lead to Hamas’ defeat.
It is characteristic of even liberal Israeli discourse to avoid any consideration of Palestinians, even amidst genocide. Note in the passage above only pragmatic references to Israel’s interests, with no consideration of the moral implications of the planned Israeli operation.
The permanent occupation of the enclave outlined above was explicitly rejected by the Biden administration, though it did little to enforce its policy. But Trump has essentially washed his hands of Gaza and given Israel carte blanche to enact its diabolical scheme.
Gaza: land of the dead
In the days after WWII ended, Berlin was described as a city of the dead. Much of the city had been obliterated by Allied bombs. There are still physical remnants of the destruction visible on buildings from that period.
Israel plans to re-enact the Allied destruction, but on an even wider, more methodical scale. There will be no homes, no hospitals, no markets, no schools remaining. All will be a ruin.
It is reminiscent of the story of the Roman commander and future emperor, Titus, who destroyed the Second Temple after his victory in the Second Judean revolt. He is reported to have sown the ground around the sacred site with salt in order to guarantee it would remain a ruin. Israel may not use salt, but it is doing the same thing: Gaza must never be Palestinian again.
In the Book of Jeremiah, the prophet paints a bleak picture of a devastated Jerusalem and a First Temple in ruins. It echoes the passage above:
How lonely sits the city that was full of people! How like a widow has she become, she who was great among the nations! She who was a princess among the provinces has become a slave.
Today, it is Gaza that is empty: of buildings, of holy sites destroyed, its mothers left widowed. Those proclaiming themselves the inheritors of legacy of the Judeans, have inflicted the same suffering on another people. Just as the Israelites they claim as ancestors exterminated the Amakekites, they repeat the heinous crime. But all is well because God commanded it. God wants the blood of Palestinians as he wanted the blood of the Amalekites.
Netanyahu has called up 70,000 additional reservists to transform Gaza into Jeremiah’s ancient Jerusalem. 2-million residents are to be herded (not even on cattle cars!) into Rafah, an area where 275,000 lived prior to 10/7. The new population will be ten times that.
But there is an “alternative” for the Palestinian victims: they can “voluntarily” leave:
Palestinians [may] leave the enclave “voluntarily” for other countries “in line with President Trump’s vision for Gaza,” an Israeli official said.
Zionism’s long history of ethnic cleansing
There is a long precedent for ethnic cleansing in Zionist history beginning with the Nakba, during which 1-million indigenous Palestinians were driven out of 400 villages throughout Israel. In the 1967 War, a further 300,000 Palestinians fled the West Bank to Jordan.
The goal has been to create a state by, for and of Jews. No others allowed or tolerated…except a few who dutifully accept the supremacy of Jews. It is reminiscent of Nazi Germany’s obsession with racial purity. The only difference is that the Zionst version of purity is based on (Jewish) religion; while Germany was based on (Aryan) race. Either way, both lead to exclusion, then elimination of the untermenschen: those who impede, those who are impure, and dilute religious or racial purity.
From the outset of the current war, Israeli politicians, academics, and think tanks have advanced a plan for the eradication of a Palestinian presence in Gaza. The initial plan proposed that Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan accept as many as 1-million refugees. The Egyptians even began building camps to house the expected Palestinians. But the Egyptians eventually soured on the plan. While this aspect fell by the wayside, the expulsion maintained its appeal for Israeli officials.
While the Biden administration rejected mass expulsion, Trump has welcomed it, even celebrated it as a perfect way to solve the “Palestine problem.” He infamously proposed eliminating all the enclave’s residents and replacing them with a Mediterranean holiday resort complete with beachfront villas. He featured an AI version of Netanyahu and him lying in beach chairs and sipping martinis. With Trump on board with Israel’s plans, expulsion went from taboo to reality. This is the result: one of the largest acts of ethnic cleansing since the Rwandan genocide.
Zionism’s “preferred” solution: voluntary transfer
There are a few “small” complications:
Such departures could hardly be considered voluntary, and no country has agreed thus far to accept displaced Palestinians. Israeli officials claim there are ongoing negotiations with several countries on that front.
Such “negotiations” with Chad, Sudan and Rwanda have been reported by Israel for months with no indication any agreement was reached. It’s the height of racism for First World countries like the UK and Israel to attempt to dump their human “trash” on African countries. Even if such expellees were sent to any of these countries, they would be stateless, ineligible to work, and indigent (as was the case with African refugees Israel shipped to Rwanda several years ago).
Netanyahu believes that a plan projecting total annihilation will pressure Hamas to agree to a temporary ceasefire and release of all the remaining Israeli hostages. I strongly doubt the militant group would accede to what what are essentially terms of surrender. Just as Zionism has a cult of martyrdom so do the Palestinians. Death in the cause of freedom is a sacred duty in many cultures. Refusing to bend the knee to tyrants is a cause worth dying for.
The prime minister knows that the anticipated slaughter will not succeed in pressuring Hamas into releasing the hostage or disarming (another condition he’s bandied about). His priority is not to save their lives, it is to save his own political skin. His plan has little to do with Hamas. The goal is to destroy the Palestinian people. To rid Gaza of them and then proceed to the West Bank, where settler pogroms and
official thuggery have driven thousands from scores of villages. It is war of all against all: the Israeli nation against the Palestinian nation. A Final Solution to the Palestinian Problem.
It’s astonishing that Pres. Trump will travel to the Gulf States this week and not visit Israel (and certainly not Palestine). It is unprecedented. Presidents and secretaries of state always include them in their regional itineraries. It is a signal that he views Gaza as an intractable conflict in which he cannot score any political points. As he has said many times, he’s only interested in “winning.” And there is no benefit to engaging in a quagmire. Instead, he will visit countries which offer trade deals and investment like Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States. Ones for which he can trumpet great deals.
The “humanitarian” plan
Israel has bruited a supposed humanitarian plan for the 2-million refugees it will shunt to Rafah:
The IDF is planning to displace close to 2 million Palestinians to the Rafah area, where compounds for the delivery of humanitarian aid are being built. According to the plan, all Palestinians who enter the humanitarian area will be screened to make sure they’re not armed and not members of Hamas. The compounds are to be managed by a new international foundation and private U.S. companies, though it’s unclear how the plan will function after the UN and all aid organizations announced they won’t take part.
This is an utter fraud. The ‘international foundation’ is supposed to consist of Israel-friendly figures from Arab states. Yet there is no evidence of such a body, let alone its members. The concentration camps are to be run by a private US military contractor, hiring special forces mercenaries. The company was created in 2023 specifically for this operation. Remember how well the Army Corps of Engineers performed when they built the Gaza pier to nowhere, which transferred minuscule amounts of aid into Gaza? Remember the Blackwater massacres of Iraqi civilians? What could go wrong?
How will the contractors run this humanitarian operation without any cooperation from the only aid organizations capable of providing such assistance? They will have to build a massive operation, including infrastructure, which would likely cost hundreds of millions, if not billions. Who will pay? The most likely candidates would be the Gulf oil states. But despite their cynical betrayal of the Palestinian cause, none will want to have any association with the destruction of the Palestinian people. That leaves this putative plan in shambles.

Even if Israel intends to resume humanitarian aid deliveries, its plan is full of holes. It is debatable whether Israel knows how to ensure a regular flow of food to such a large population on its own, especially as international organizations have already declared they won’t cooperate with it in distributing aid.
Israel’s proposal is a fraud. Remember the humanitarian zones? Israel herded hundreds of thousands into so-called safe zones where refugees would supposedly be protected. Palestinians dutifully flocked to what they expected to be security. Exccept it wasn’t. They died there just as they died outside these zones. Israel paid no attention to their status. It was a ruse, a cruel ruse.
I maintain Israel doesn’t intend its current proposal to be real. It is a smokescreen designed to distract the world about its true intentions. Israel’s method is to divert attention from its real plans by throwing out red herrings, hoping that enough people will believe; that pressure will be relieved and it can proceed with a full, unfettered genocide.
It’s a cynical, even diabolical stratagem. Unfortunately, it works. The world so far has stood by mute in the face of genocide. A dark stain on humanity. Proof that the human race is built on cruelty and bloodlust. We no longer appeal to the “better angels of our nature.” Instead, we appeal to the devils of our nature.
