Marc Hokoana, age 29, is suspected of critically wounding UW employee, Josh Dukes, in a Friday night shooting outside the Milo Yiannopolous event. For the time being, and for a reason I don’t understand, the Seattle MSM has refused to identify or report on him. Leaving me as the only media outlet which has.
With the help of another campus community member, I’ve discovered that Hokoana is a current UW senior majoring in Biology. There are exam records on the University website which show him sitting for science exams this year.
That should raise a ton of red flags for other members of the campus community who would legitimately be concerned about their safety if he was among them. I’ve called the UW Police and Office of Student Life to determine what his status might be. No one has responded so far.
I think there a are a lot of questions here. Why was he released so quickly. He had a firearm in a weapons free zone, shot an unarmed person, after agitating the crowd. Self defense is not a valid argument in this situation. The police were ineffective and indifferent to identifying and stopping violence. Are they not making an arrest because they are ultimately sympathizers?
I am curious. Do you have any theories as to why the police doesn’t realease his name?
@Amico: I spoke to the UWPD today but forgot to ask that question. I should have.
King 5 has now named him. However, no one is answering the questions regarding his status after bringing a gun on campus, shooting an unarmed person during an event…King 5 has lots of video of him continually injecting himself in to the scuffles that were going on. This guy was aching to shoot someone. Why is he even still allowed on campus if he shot someone and hasn’t yet been cleared of wrongdoing in any formal proceeding?
