Your blog is becoming a mirror image of how you describe MEMRI.
    In fact much worse.
You took an article twisted a few lines out of context.
More than that, you brought in the authors medical records into play when in reality even the way you intepretted the original Kulak’s article it is squarely within the spectrum of Orthodox rabbinic thought as I have shown you in my earlier comment here:

Despite that you again incite Mr. Kulak’s employer to censor his paper to the liking of your Muslim fans (who are not going to read it anyway) and to violate the Individuals with Disabilities Anti Discrimination Act: http://www.ada.gov/pubs/ada.htm
Well I am sorry to disappoint you you and CAIR are simply making Mr. Kulak more popular in his community and I strongly doubt that his Chabadnik editor Mr. Gordon would fire him or censor his future articles.
In any case thank you for continuing to provide free publicity and advertising to talented rightwing Jewish journalists and writers and newspapers.
    Have a Gut Shabbos.

  3. @Ariel: Kulak does not WORK for the newspaper. He is a freelancer (if I should even grace him with that respectful title). So you can leave out the Individuals with Disabilities Act, another one of yr many red herrings.

Kulak is within the consensus of extremist anti-Muslim Orthodox Jewish thought (that is, not within the consensus of general Orthodox thought on this subject) as are you.

  4. @Kaveh: I did not mean to imply that all mentally ill or mentally troubled people are violent or advocate violence. But I do believe that Kulak’s views are aberrant and that it is possible that his particular mental condition may contribute to the extemism and hatefulness of his views. But yes, there are many people who do not suffer such medical conditions who have deeply extemist political views. So I would never attribute Kulak’s views entirely to his mental condition. There are certainly other factors.

Still it is not appropriate what you did. Would you enjoy someone to digging thru public records for your own medical and legal history to look for clues to some of your own lame one sided posts?

Kulak is within the consensus of extremist anti-Muslim Orthodox Jewish thought (that is, not within the consensus of general Orthodox thought on this subject) as are you.

Rabbi Jachter whom I quoted to prove that Mr. Kulak’s views are well within the spectrum of Orthodox Jewish thought seems to be pretty mainstream American Modern Orthodox rabbi with good credentials:

Howard (Chaim) Jachter is a prominent rabbi on the Rabbinical Council of America (RCA). He is also a teacher at the Torah Academy of Bergen County. He is well-known for his articles in TABC’s weekly Torah Publication, Kol Torah, many of which form the base of his books Gray Matter, Gray Matter 2, and Grey Matter 3. He is an expert Get (Jewish Divorce) administrator and community Eruv designer.

Jachter serves as chairperson of the Agunah Prevention and Resolution Committee of the Rabbinical Council of America, where he champions the use of prenuptial agreements to avoid the issues created if the husband refuses to give or receive a Get.[1] –en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_Jachter

His other rulings on are rather moderate not really extreme see for example what he wrote about the murder of Yitzhak Rabin:

The Halacha of Rodef and the Rabin Shooting

What utter nonsense. Of course it is appropriate for readers to know that someone who has written a murderous diatribe against Muslims has a history of mental problems. THis is entirely pertinent. As for “digging through public records” I did no such thing. When you do a Google search for “Lawrence Kulak” the court records are among the first items that display.

I would dare you to find a single Orthodox rabbi including Rabbi Jachter who support Lawrence Kulak’s atrocious notion that Muslim civilians should be killed in retaliation for the murder by Muslim terrorists of non-Muslims; or that Israel and other western nations should invade Pakistan. I take that back, you’ll find a few wacked out settler rabbis living in a caravan on a West Bank hilltop who’ll say that. But aside from them…
