My garden seems to have distinct classes of flowers that display at different parts of the growing season. I’ve already featured the Spring flowers in my blog: rhododendron, tulips, daphne odora and madrona tree. Now, it’s time for the early summer flowers to take front and center. Later on, the dahlias, thalictrum, astrancias and other gorgeous high summer flowers will strut their stuff. I can’t wait–but I don’t mean to give short shrift to the beauty I see in my garden today.
