Bis is a delightful surprise in this bit of commercial wasteland called Bellevue. Amid high rise office buildings & wall-to-wall mini malls this stretch of Main Street harkens to Bellevue’s past.
We had lamb medallions & shrimp pasta. It was the best restaurant meal we’ve had in Bellevue. Bis is a real neighborhood boite, quiet, sedate & informal. You won’t have the best Seattle meal you’ve ever had here, but after shopping or seeing a movie nearby, Bis is a great place to eat.
I especially liked the white bean and pancetta soup.
