These are courageous young Israelis who diametrically oppose a fundamental tenet of Israeli society: the obligation to serve the nation with required military service. Concering Iraq: NPR last week quoted a current poll says that 2/3 of all Americans do not approve of any type of Iraq conflict unless it involves a 2nd UN resolution approving of war. Thats a heartening note in an otherwise bleak world picture.
