  1. Thanks Richard. Some British university students are being inspired by the Americans and setting up encampments, including at the most elite ones like Oxford and Cambridge. Like in America, the UK media are also echoing the narrative that pro-Palestinian sentiment, whether its marches or encampments, are antisemitic – either said directly, or implied by asserting that Jewish people feel unsafe, a very subjective position and doesn’t mean they actually are. In fact, there’s many Jewish people at both these pro-Palestine protests, and it’s pro-Palestinian/non or anti- Zionist Jews who seem to be the ones who are unsafe as they risk being smeared in the media as ‘self hating’ and antisemitic.
It’s good that these students are using their privileged position to challenge Western imperialism, and hopefully the working class will follow, because while both Ukraine and Israel are being funded, our standard of living is declining.

Same as UCLA, Zionist hooligans initiated violence as the riot police moved in with brutal attacks on non-violent protest and even bystanders quite a distance from the hotbed of hostilities.
