  1. Once, about 2-3 weeks ago, when writing a comment, I had to stop writing and continue the next day. I left the browser on and the machine went to sleepmode. Next day I continued and in the Name and email fields where the name and email of another person, who also writes sometimes comment here. Sofar as I can tell the email address was a real one. I tried to repeat this “event”. Nothing happened. 🙂

  2. I just accessed the website from an android mobile device and the pages loaded quickly, the pictures also loaded quickly. So no problems.

  3. Why do you even need SSL encryption? None of us has to type in a password to access the site. Otherwise, the site is working fine. No worries.

    1. @ Pea: As I understand it, SSL allows users to visit the site without anyone else being able to snoop on them or access their activity. It’s probably not critical for the uses of this particular site (SSL is important for sites which engage in financial transactions). But I just figure that it adds a level of privacy & security that some readers may appreciate. This site is probed in various ways by many different elements. If they do this, they may also wish to probe who’s visiting the site.

I may abandon SSL if I find it limits my ability to do things here that I was doing before. I haven’t decided yet.
