    1. “I am an Islamophobe, and everything we need to know about Islam, we learned on 9-11…”—Just need to replace Islam with Israel in the statement

  1. Not surprising the EDL should turn out to be pro-Israel, for two reasons. Firstly, the “enemy of my enemy is my friend” principle. And secondly, more covertly, the existence of Israel as the “true home” for Jews helps legitimise the denial of “Englishness” from English Jews.

    1. That and the fact that all these so called white power groups are 100% infiltrated by intelligence(and I use that term loosely) agencies. Traitors to race and traitors to country is what these people are. Freedom loving people of all races should disavow this kind of crap where ever they come across it. Those EDL morons must be the dumbest racialists out there. For shame!

  2. Odd that since the Tea Party was started by Ron Paul a few years ago, it’s been taken over by crazies, and is unrecognizable now compared to its roots.

  3. If you have actually read the original article, you would have known that the event, hosted by the tea party, was attended by a number of candidates including Democrat David Levitt & Diane Steward as well as Feinland of the Peace of Freedom Party. So they too took their turn standing in front of the Tea Party Patriot banner.

Do your homework before you assume Shifren was “supported” by the Tea Party. And I doubt you will have the integrity to do a retraction.

    1. So you’re arguing that Shifren’s views diverge from the Tea Party or that the audience didn’t whistle & laugh & support Shifren when he spoke? If so, I’d love to see evidence where Shifren’s views oppose those of the Tea Party. Did you hear any catcalls or opposition on the YouTube video from the Tea Party audience?

And isn’t it interesting that the San Mateo newspaper chose to emphasize Shifren’s nutty views in its headline: Rabbi’s Speech Called Hateful. Sounds pretty Tea Party to me. Or does that make you uncomfortable?

      1. That still does not justify your conclusion that Shifren is “running with the support of the Tea Party”. In fact, most San Mateo Republicans, myself and Mr. Leonard Stone included, support CPA Greg Conlon, who is a San Mateo County local, in the US Senate race.
