Google Images has driven thousands of visitors to my site today. They’re all trying (and failing) to view this image. For some reason I haven’t been able to discover, my blog installation and Google Images don’t get along well and the latter doesn’t retrieve my images properly. So I thought I’d repost this image originally from the NY Times from happier times when Edwards and Kerry first began their 2004 presidential campaign.
I wish for Elizabeth Edwards the strength and courage to fight this thing. I know she has it in her. I know that she will make the most of the time she has here with her wonderful husband and family. John has made a hard decision to continue the campaign. It took guts on both their parts.

I just finished reading your book, which was written beautifully I might add. I just wanted to let you knows that I admire your courage, strength, and wisdom. I know Wade is watching over all of you and has a big smile on his face because you are such a great mother and life partner to John. I wish you good health first, laughter…because it’s good medicine, and eternal peace with yourself and your loved ones. You don’t have to answer this e-mail…I just wanted to send my love.
