  1. Jeanne Capozzoli says:

The Israeli Lobby and neocon smear campaign against President Carter has been despicable. Only old men can afford to speak out against Israeli policies, a younger person would most certainly jeopardize his career — there are hundreds of examples — Chas. Freeman is the latest. It was obvious that Carter who had been scheduled to speak at the Democratic Convention was disinvited for fear of losing Jewish votes. This is the President who was able to engineer a successful peace agreement between Egypt and Israel.

  2. James Becraft says:

What a bunch of boloney to go after the President on this. Why shouldn’t two men with public careers oriented to peace and practical good works get together?

Jimmy Carter and Barack Hussein Obama need to have many-heart, practical conversations about how the USA can once again be known as a country committed to peace, human rights, and even-handed dealing.

They should be encouraged to share their insights, not trashed.

  3. B.BarNavi says:

You know who’s been in the same room as that nefarious anti-Semite Carter? *GASP* George W. Bush!
