Jonah at the Ballard Seafood Festival and Bearing Garden Flowers

Jonah and I attended the Ballard Seafood Festival. In spite of the fearesome heat, we had a good time watching firefighters and children spray the firehose. The stream of water from the hose drained down the street in the gutter and enabled Jonah to have this mini-splash fight with himself. That’s a happy guy!

A few weeks ago, we visited my brother at his home in Oregon. Jonah befriended his two cats and found some new types of flowers to pick in Todd’s garden. Here (right) he bears a tree peony and Queen Anne’s lace.
