     Yes! Mary .. so true. It is disgraceful to the faith, illegal, and immoral to JUDGE as the rabbi appears to present himself on this issue. All rapes must be reported and have both the faithful elders + unbiased 3rd parties assist the offended and offender.

   There are so many holes in this post, I think I will grade it Richard’s worst this month. Rabbi Elon didn’t having to do with Mercaz Harav, he was head of Yeshivat Hakotel. Rabbi Aviner should actually be commended on this blog for going down to Gush Katif with his students during the ‘disengagement’ and violently trying to put down opposition. Rabbi Aviner worked hand in hand with the police (famous photo of him smiling with chief) during that time, instead you vilify him. Picture of Aviner stolen and not given accreditation. The list goes on…

   If anything, this Takana Forum is actually getting kudos across the political spectrum and the leftists/non-religious are wondering why they have nothing like it either. Who knew about this group that has representatives from across the national-religious rabbinical spectrum membership list of Takana reads like a Who’s Who of Religious Zionism from the forward article. If you are so pissed off about this, why is there no anti-Kolech or anti-Rabbi Cherlow post about their participation in this forum???

     Thanks for the correction about the name of Elon’s yeshiva. Apparently, as a former or current yeshiva student & Orthodox settler supporter you’d know such things.

     As for yr able critical skills at judging my blog posts, I think I’ll take a pass on that. Though I do credit you for balls in thinking anyone will give a crap what you think about my work.

     As for “stealing” a picture. C’mon. The picture was featured at another site which didn’t credit the photographer. I always credit photographers when I know who took a picture. Do me a favor & find this one & I’ll gladly provide credit unless you took it & I’ll credit you.

       C’mon, a liberal like yourself would admit that this is a world problem that crosses all races, religions, agnostics, and everything. Are you really covering up, or accusing the Orthodox of being the only ones with a problem?

     The VAST majority of the perpetrators have been Orthodox & an addition problem is the community often refuses to cooperate w. civil authorities. I suppose in Reform or Conservative shuls there would be no such compunction & the police & courts would intervene & do justice. Often this is not the case among the Orthodox.
