  1. The delusions seem to be the continuing of unconditional US support and the story about Israel being a democracy. As well relying on the delusion of continuing PA cooperation of the “status quo”- which is not.
Here, it’s hard to focus about the need for an Israel remembering lived or learned history and deny the colonialist racist theocratic character that modern Israel has become for the last decades including the militarism, brutal occupation used to deal with uprisings–sold as Palestinian terrorism.

“Let me put it even more succinctly: it’s time to kill the special relationship.

But not before the visit to Israel by US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and the expected visit of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to coordinate policy with Israel on a range of issues, above all Iran.

    1. This policy of UNCONDITIONAL support for Israel in view of that country’s treatment of the Palestinians and refusal to agree to a contiguous Palestinian state, is indeed harmful to our nation’s security. This policy simply makes enemies for our country in the Middle East and around the world. The majority of the younger people in our country including Jews born after 1980 don’t believe in this policy. About US interests, we have so many problems in our own country like gun violence(is that not harmful to our security?) and homelessness that need to be addressed. Among everyone else, many Jewish Americans are very much affected by these problems.
