      1. Mr. Silverstein, I would have agreed with you a year ago but not now. He is much more worried about his re-election than he is about whether some crack-pot rabbis murder some Palestinian children or burn some Palestinian mosques.

  1. Tax deduction fo9r gifts to hospitals anhd schools, kindergartens, etc? Are you mad? If they are projects “of” (or “associated with”) HAMAS, the gift is not only not tax deductible, but you violate the USA’s Draconian anti-terrorism (material-support-for) law by the gift.

Tax-deductible, phooey. If your gift makes it possible for HAMAS to spend a bit more on terrorism because it can spend a bit less on hospitals and schools, then you have supoorted terrorism! (So easy, this argumjent.)

BUT if your gift goes DIRECTLY (and certainly if it goes indirectly) to support schools, housing, hospitals, waht not of SETTLERS residing illegally (and perhaps as a result of a war-crime by their government) in occupied territory, USA’s DRACONIAN anti-terrorism law — IS SILENT. And the gift is likely tax-deductible. (So easy, this argument!)

    WHY? Because apples-for-Israeli-illegal-settlements are not oranges-for-Palestine-children .

  2. Richard, even a settler rabbi, Bin Nun, tried to get Od Yosef Chai shut down…BEFORE Rabin’s assassination, because it is filled with psychotics and sociopaths.

See “Murder in the Name of God: The Plot to Kill Yitzhak Rabin,” for details.
