  1. “Others facing such circumstances would seclude themselves, refuse to open themselves to receive such love. It was very unusual to see him among all of his disciples receiving so much love from them.”

My father passed away from cancer a few years ago and I can assure you that I felt like I was meeting the real him for the first time and vice verse. He had a very serious cancer; and it was an experience I never want to go through again, ever, but the love that permeated during that period of time was mystical and more real than anything I have ever experienced in my entire life.

I hope when Rabbi Froman passes he leaves behind a legacy of compassion for Palestinian suffering and a spirit of sharing and peace with his students that they may carry forward to influence a badly-needed change.

The first blue link (Menahem Froman) doesn’t work.

“A true man of peace. If we had more like him we wouldn’t be in the mess we are.”

If we had more like him, I would say that we’re heading for a One State from the River to the Sea :-))

  3. Thanks for sharing wonderful. What a fine tribute! In the greatest tradition of our forefathers, Jew, Christian, and Muslim…being men of peace and reconciliation and good humor to boot.
