  1. Note: that’s not the Shin Bet. That’s the Deputy Prime Minister Eli Yishai (see letterhead & signature).

Eli Yishai has his own, separate war on Palestinian Arabs with Israeli citizenship (& see your post from yesterday, with MK Aryeh Eldad crowing over how the bearer of such citizenship should be humiliated by its symbols).

    Disgusting country.

    1. Yes, I realized the order was signed by the Interior Ministry, Yishai. But I used a bit of shorthand because clearly whatever the Shin Bet wants, it gets. In this case, it’s a travel ban. Yishai’s signature is pro forma. I doubt he even read what he ostensibly signed.

      1. I respectfully disagree with your assessment. It seems to me that Eli Yishai has been very much on a campaign to strip citizenship (and all rights) from any Palestinian Arab on whom an Israeli citizenship has been inflicted.

In other words, I’m not sure whether the puppet or the puppeteer signed that letter, or if we can tell the dancer from the dance. :-/

  2. Looks quite fascist to me, not merely a “stain on the democracy.” I see no evidence of democracy here.
