  1. aw jeez….just report it as an illegal page

so one guy makes an idiotic group and you go nuts?

there have been tons of anti israel and anti jewish pages put on facebook…they go up for a day, are reported and are gone.

      1. What’s the point of doing that? It’s better when they stay a silent minority that no one hears about.

The page should go down before it attracts people who have no opinion of their own – the easily influenced. How do you think people started thinking this way in the first place?

  2. Well, Richard, Israelis – and not just the extreme right – have been figuratively burning their Palestinian citizens, including Palestinian MK’s, for decades, so it does not seem to strange to me to suggest burning them literally. In fact, there is something to be said for the honesty of these idiots, as contrasted with the hypocrisy of most of the rest of their compatriots.

And by the way A-Sana is not a good transliteration. As Sana is correct. The name is Al Sana, Al being the definite article. When the definite article is followed by certain letters (eg S, sh, d, t, z), the “l” sound is replaced by the sound that follows (in this case “s”), which has the effect of changing the pronunciation such that the “l” is dropped, and the sound following the “l” is doubled. Doubled sounds are pronounced in Arabic, and can make a difference in the meaning of words and phrases.

    1. First of all, Shirin, you can never generalize anything about any people. Like I know that not all Arabs (if not most of them) don’t want me dead, so you should know that not all Israelis want the situation now in progress in Gaza.

As far as I’m concerned, these people are not voices of reason and should not be representing the sane part of Israel, which unfortunately is losing it’s power as of late. That part is definitely true.

      1. I didn’t say all Israelis, and I stand by what I did say. It is absolutely and demonstrably true that Israelis as a collective, and every one of their democratically elected governments have been burning Israel’s Palestinian citizens in large and small ways since Israel came into existence.

  3. No wonder at all. If the judiciary police and Shin-Bet incriminating Israel’s Arab citizens and leadership as security threats and spies, the result is a public atmosphere of witch hunt.

  4. RE: a truly ghoulish Israeli right-wing Facebook group, I Too Want to Burn MK Talib A-Sana.

MY COMMENT: This group reminds me of a Facebook group a while back named something like “Hoping Richard Goldstone Gets Brain Cancer”. Quite creative!

  5. Horns were a rip-off from the disgusting Im Tirzu attacks on N’omi Chazan, of NIF. A new theme in the land…

  6. Wow! I just googled up my name and found out I’m one of the “stars” in this post.

I joined this group when I was about 16 or 17 years old, as a childish response to the absurd I witnessed as a child in my beloved country.
Today I don’t believe in burning or imprisoning Arab MK and I understand the importance of having such, however I see now that the ones acting in the name of humanity, aren’t such human!
Internet is a very powerful tool: it can build people and it can destroy them. You decided to punish the people above (who made you a judge?) and publish their names! This is totally un-ethical by you, I hope you understand it.
Thank good your blog is pathetic enough so there aren’t many people reading this non-sense.

    Enjoy writing this non-sense!
