  1. Mr. Silverberg:

I am very offended that you did not include me alongside the other Twitterers you mentioned: http://www.twitter.com/doronalmog.

From 2000 to 2003 I was head of the IDF Southern Command. I demolished many many homes in the Gaza and killed many civilians, at least as much as my friend Dani Halutz.

I also went to Harvard — I was not a student like Dani but rather I was a visiting fellow like the great Martin Kramer. I also was indicted by judge in England for the ‘war crimes.’ Why you refuse to recognize my importance I do not understand. Have a nice day.

    1. I thank you for your chastisement. You are a great warrior on behalf of the Jewish people & taught Salah Shehadeh and his little children a great lesson they will never forget wherever their souls now dwell. Pls be sure to send me your contact information after your next visit to the beautiful Hague where the tulips are now blooming and a luxury accomodations are awaiting you. I understand if you reserve early you may be able to stay in precisely the same apartments whose presence was graced by that other great nationalist hero, Slobodan Milosevic.

  2. I love this part:

Ashley Perry and advisor to Danny Ayalon responded to our enquiries saying they were aware of FakeDannyAyalon on Twitter and that “imitation is the highest form of flattery”

She (he?) doesn’t seem to realise how self-defeating that statement is – if the fake, satirical messages are considered flattering imitation that means they agree with the views of the real Danny Ayalon, and the satire was spot on, wasn’t it?

  3. What should Israel do, publicize the negative about Israel? It seems to me that you and your ilk already have that area covered pretty well.

    Fawn

    1. Fawn – Israel should take time to seriously reflect on what they have been doing in recent decades. Maybe we could have a month long Yom Kippur. Seriously, I have spent the High Holy Days in Israel every year for at least the past 20 years with my relatives. During that time I have noticed a significant deterioration in the atonement of our sins versus the need for atonement in the “others” sins. Last year for Yom Kippur I was at shul in Kiryat Arba and forced to listen to prayers for G-d to “wipe out” the Palestinians.

Too many Israelis, especially in smug cosmopolitan Tel Aviv, have no clue what really goes on in the territories and really don’t want to know. I think that is true of a great portion of the Israeli public. I would really to see much of the Hasbera energy turned inward by improving the real understanding of the West Bank by being encouraged to spend time there viewing roadblocks, settler youth gangs, going to shul in the settlements, actually talking with settlers and palestinians etc. I have spent since 1967 at least a 500 days in the West Bank and I would like Israelis to understand you don’t treat human beings in this fashion.

  4. Richard-
You just won another convert in your ongoing effort to convince everyone that Israel is the most corrupt, vile country and society in the world…..and you didn’t even need the Goldstone Report to do it, only the Siddur (the Daily Prayer Book). Read this column by Maureen Dowd of the New York Times…She even argues that Saudi Arabia is a liberal, progressive democratic society compared to Israel….
