  1. Your article is completely misguided I’m afraid! Trita Parsi is a shady character and NIAC is not a popular organization and neither do Iranians support or like it! For the simpla reason that it is a front organization set up with funds from Islamic Republic! The fact that Ledeen and co dislike them, does not make them clean! Hassan Dai as far as I know has nothing to do with MKO or any such organization. As far I have been able to understand from his article and investigative work, he has exposed Trita Parsi, the NIAC and Houshang Amir-Ahmadi who acts as a go between between Iranian givernment and elements within the US government and adminstration. Amir-Ahmadi is another shady charachter who worls with Parsi. Only recently Amir-Ahmadi went to Iran to speak to Khamenei and to recieve orders for the next step! NIAC has access to limitless funds for taking people to court who stand in their ways! IMHO they do not serve anyones interest expect for anyone who pays them the most!

    1. Thanks for providing a perfect example of precisely the sort of baseless innuendo & smears I was talking about in the Washington Times article. Can you provide even a scintilla of evidence that NIAC received funds fr. Iran? And do tell us about yr own ideological preferences: monarchist? MKO member? Or just plain concerned everyday Iranian w. no vested interest in the outcome of this fight?

Hassan Dai as far as I know has nothing to do with MKO

“As far as you know?”…The charge has been made & it is credible in my opinion. I’d like to think you & he can provide better evidence than this to rebut the claim. Or can’t you?

Trita Parsi, the NIAC and Houshang Amir-Ahmadi who acts as a go between between Iranian givernment and elements within the US government and adminstration

Once again, saying sanctions won’t work & that an attack on Iran or regime change is a terrible idea doesn’t translate into being an agent of the mullahs. If so, I am (& I’m not!). Perhaps you’d like to claim that all bloggers and almost all the serious Iran analysts in this country who hold similar views are received cash fr. the Basij?? Why not smear us all?

IMHO they do not serve anyones interest expect for anyone who pays them the most!

Perhaps we should wonder whether this statement actually applies to you??

    2. “Only recently Amir-Ahmadi went to Iran to speak to Khamenei and to recieve orders for the next step! ”

This sounds so typical of the Iranian exiles I’ve met. They’re full of conspiracy theories. They dont change. 🙂

  2. The U.S. government has clearly never gotten over the fact that it doesn’t call the shots in Iran anymore; that Lake and his ilk have any ‘traction’ at all is a symptom of this unfortunate reality.

Much like its behavior towards Cuba, the U.S. government’s behavior towards Iran is petty, immature, and an embarrassment.

  3. With All due respect Sir, It seems that your primary concern is to clear Parsi and Amir-Ahmadi as well as NIAC! That is your wish! However, being an Iranian and being exile is not a crime! Iranians support various factions within the political spectrum of Iran. Being and MKO,or Monarchist, Communist, Bahai, Jewish, Non-beleiver, Republican or even Hezbollah supporter is not a crime and I have the full and perfect right to choose whichever I like and for that I do not need your permission!

The prople you so vehemently support are public figures and I am not! I have simply responded to your unimportant blog which in my opinion has not given any new facts about NIAC, Parsi neither have you added anyting to defend them!

I shall leave your blog for you and your fellow thinkers as without any basis you are trying to silence anyone who says anything against your views and accuse them of being an MKO or Royalist! Despite your colourful and “Peace” advocating weblog, you are actually repeating the words that might come out of a violent organization with dark and unsavoury agenda!

We as Iranians are a proud and an ancient nation and have survived worse deals than the menace of Mullahs (and their foriegn backers like you!) and WE shall overcome this one Sir! Amir-Ahmadi, Parsi etc will be digested into the collective memory of IRAN …that you can be sure of!

I would suggest, you find yourself better things to do rather that defending a bunch of loosers like Parsi and Amirahmadi or whatever he stands for!
