An international note worth considering: the political arena in both Israel and the U.S. appear to be under attack by people who want to preserve the appearance of democratic process while in practice disenfranchising much of the population.
In the U.S. this was baldly phrased by Karl Rove as “a permanent Republican majority”.
In Israel this is phrased by Im Tirzu and the IZS as “a permanent Zionist majority”, regardless of the actual number of citizens and residents living under Israel’s control.
It does not seem to be a coincidence that Karl Rove is involved in the Hudson Institute, which appears to feed both Im Tirzu and the IZS.
