Lou Dobbs Leaves CNN for Cartoon Network

From the pen of Andy Borowitz:

NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report) – Controversial TV host Lou Dobbs announced today that he was leaving CNN and would soon be joining the primetime lineup of The Cartoon Network.

Mr. Dobbs will be joining a schedule that includes such programs as Tom and Jerry and What’s New, Scooby-Doo?
While a press release from The Cartoon Network called Mr. Dobbs’ show “a perfect fit,” Davis Logsdon, the chairman of the media studies department at the University of Minnesota, took a dimmer view.

“I think the addition of Lou Dobbs will be a tremendous blow to The Cartoon Network’s credibility,” he said.
In other broadcast news, on Sunday the Fox News Channel reported that an American won the New York marathon and a Kenyan won the U.S. presidency.

Earlier on Sunday, Fox marked Daylight Savings Time by setting its clocks back 400 years.

Richard, thank you for posting this I “shared” it on my facebook page…

    TRULY KAUFMAN-ESQUE!

Borowitz: the new Kaufman! Perhaps even better (if that’s possible)!

  3. Lanker Pheldge says:

Lou Dobbs makes $40,000 a day and gets his weekends off. Of course that $10 million per annum CNN salary is just the tip of the iceberg (like CNN’s highest-paid anchor, Larry King, Dobbs is also tied into the network with a healthy stock option). He makes another small fortune on his books and is in high demand on the podium circuit (when he can ever find time). So why does a network bent on destroying Israel and profligating all the hate they can against America and its conservatives, pay their antithesis so much money? Because if he ever left, CNN’s ratings and advertising revenue would tank by 10-12% overnight, that’s why. CNN hasn’t yet become so “progressive” that they don’t understand that kind of arithmetic.

  4. LILLY says:

Lou Dobbs told it like it was and some people don’t like to hear the truth…. I won’t be watching cnn anymore.

  5. Well Put. Lou Dobbs is a one side Democrat hater to the extreme. I don’t understand how people can consider CNN as a news show. CNN is a TV show that sells adds. The people they get to express their points of views are so far right filled with venom. Lou Dobss is the biggest cheer leader with whats wrong with America, along with Fox news, Rush and everyone in the GOP Senate.

  6. Fred Spain says:

    GET REAL!
Dobbs was not anti latino, he is against illegal aliens
