Mutatis mutandis, this reminds me of the desperate attempts by the Israeli government to demonstrate that another media symbol, Muhammad al-Durrah, was in fact killed by Palestinian gunfire. “the Iranian state media is accusing deported BBC correspondent John Leyne of recruiting foreigners to kill Neda Aga-Soltan.”

Mutatis mutandis, this reminds me of the desperate attempts by the Israeli government to demonstrate that another media symbol, Muhammad al-Durrah, was in fact killed by Palestinian gunfire.
