He won and he did it…I wonder if the people of USA know how huge this is in Sweden and Europe, The people in USA have done the absolutely best choice and now maybe the faith and respect of USA will come back. We are many in Sweden, Europa and in the rest of the world who have follow this.

Graham didn’t say he’d drown himself. He said he’d beat Michael Phelps in a swimming race before Obama beat McCain, but he can’t swim.

@Bruce: Gail Collins left out the nuance of that story, I’m afraid. It makes Graham look like an utter idiot. I guess he was trying to say that since he can’t swim he could never beat Michael Phelps in a race. But while he was being too cute by half, Obama took the state.
