Election 2008: Goin’ Off the Rails

Oct 8th, 2008 by Richard Silverstein | 3

A friend of my wife’s sent her this satirical graphic in an e mail which, by now, has probably gone viral. It should. It’s one of the funniest things I seen in days if not weeks and encapsulates where the campaign stands perfectly (at least as far as I’m concerned).

Oh come on! Americans in the last two elections have voted for a guy who probably can’t find his own arse on the dark with both hands. Surely you’re not going to funk out now and fail to get the hat trick? The rest of the world is praying you’ll vote in McCain who’ll then snuff it leaving Palin in the White House. Don’t think of it as a hideously bad move, think of it as having a really dark sense of humour.

@Diane: Oh yeah! Great image. That’s literally off the rails.
