    Such a beautiful child. Such a terrible waste! I grieve for Bassam Aramin; he is the last person in the world to whom such tragedy should occur. It makes his work for peace all the more important. I volunteered for service in World War II after first hearing about the Nazi concentration camps, with the hope that after such catastrophe people everywhere would begin to view life as sacred and join together in the elimination of violence. Bassam Aramin carries on in this effort. We must join with him and support his cause.
