George Bush says of Denny Hastert: “I believe…him.” But who believes George Bush anymore? Did anyone believe him when he made the preposterous promise (’preposterous’ only because no one believed he intended to keep it) to fire anyone in his Administration found to have leaked Valerie Wilson’s identity?
