Absolutly right Richard, From Beirut to the Beltway, is one of the most inspring Lebanese Blogs. It is both moderate and analytical. The type one might build on for future bridging of gaps between the Arabs – in particular Lebanon – and Israel.

Excellent post, Richard. I’ve been urging links between Lebanese bloggers and the antiwar movement in Israel. Although the ceasefire has ostensibly begun, there’s a very good chance of continued fighting between Israel and Hizbollah/Lebanon, especially because Israel will use Resolution 1701 as a pretext for attacking Hizbollah. So progressive Israelis and Lebanese need to collaborate to prevent this from happening.
