Abu Mazen is doing the usual tricks.
It would be bold to tell the Palestinians, to the Israelis and to the world that the Palestinian leaders were more loyal to their foreign instigators than to their ordinary fellow Palestinians.
I see countless caricatures on both sides,
People are reading their own press, not very much else on the other sides. And most Israelis and Palestinians just silently hate each other. Too bad, because there are millions of decent people on both sides.
I asked once Baruch Kimmerling if he succeeded to teach good scholars…. his answer has escaped my memory – but the result is clear to me. Absolute failure in teaching everywhere.
