The analogies were good. Nothing wrong with mixing a little philosophical and political thought with a little vegetation management. In my line of work, which has me fighting the effects of invasive weeds which can often destroy biodiversity, I do it all the time! We have a gorgeous aquatic plant now growing in East Texas, water hyacinth, which is taking over lakes and ponds and can double in numbers every 5 to 7 days, and another , salvinia molesta, which can grow from one plant to 60 million in under two months, and destroy all other life in a pond or lake!
