    I think the worst part of this is not that the people against this movie care as much about terrorism being glorified or not vilified enough, but they hate that there is humanization of Palestinians.

    These people depend on the vilification and dehumanization of Arabs and specifically Palestinians to propel their own movements. Without terrorism they would be nothing, they are utterly dependant on it.

    I’m sure one of their biggest fears was Hany Abu Assad getting on stage to accept the award and instead of acting like a wild eyed cartoon, giving a rational and meaningful call for peace.

    Sorry to be so cynical but both the Israeli right and the radical Palestinians are so dependant on the vilification of each other to survive it sickens me. They’re more than happy to see the blood of their own people spilled because it just extends their power.
