  3. Tikun Olam Interview on All for Peace Radio: Part 2

Most of the time I labor in relative obscurity on this blog. Sure, I’ve made attempts to break into the media consciousness but it just hasn’t worked (I’m kidding sorta). Seriously, I believe that progressive bloggers on the Israeli Palestinian conflict have traveled pretty much under the radar. I bet most of my fellow bloggers are barely a blip on the AIPAC screen (not that I consider this the ultimate arbiter of influence).

All of which leads me to the intriguing announcement that I’ll be interviewed by Mike Brand of All for Peace Radio. The interview will air on Sunday, July 31st at 11 AM PST (9 PM local Israel time), and repeated on Tuesday, August 2nd at the same time. You can do your own comparative time zone computation if you’re interested in listening. The interview will last 20 minutes so if you blink you might miss it. I urge my ‘huge’ coterie of fans to tune your internet radio dial to All for Peace on that date. We’ll be talking about the small wavelet of progressive bloggers attempting to advance a vision of peace and justice for Israelis and Palestinians.

I’ve posted twice here about the station and Mike Brand corrected a statement of mine that the station broadcasts in Hebrew and Arabic. He does his own English-language program (Rainbow - Different Points of View) on the station. After Mike wrote his comment on my blog, I asked if he’d be interested in talking about how the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is refracted through the blog world here in the States. The idea interested him and and that’s why you’ll hear me with Mike on July 13th. Thanks again for his interest in Israel-Palestine peace blogging.

Mike himself runs a website devoted to Israeli offshore pirate radio and TV.
