I recently resigned from the American Jewish Congress, of which I am past President of the Maryland Chapter, because of its hypocrisy over this issue as compared to its feigned outrage (really reflecting the Republican biases of its President, Jack Rosen) over MoveOn.org's "Bush in 30 Seconds" ad campaign because two of the proposed ads submitted by its members compared Bush to Hitler. Neither ad was selected by MoveOn's membership for airing on TV and the ads would no longer be on the Internet if the Republican National Committee hadn't demagogued the issue. Fairly mild "offense" compared to what Norquist did. You can read about my resignation on E.J. Kessler's Campaign Confidential weblog in the Forward ("Jack Attack") at http://www.forward.com/campaignconfidential/2004_01_18_archiveindex.html

Thoughts of the Day

What's the story with fondue? Is it coming back? Buck and Benita have both blogged on their dipping experiences of late. Also, Buck recently got Super Monkey Ball, which means he can partake in my favorite video game of all
