Tikun Olam Nominated for Koufax Award

Jan 14th, 2004 by R. Silverstein | 0

Sandy Koufax in the stretch
I’m pleased to say that Jonathan Edelstein of The Head Heeb has nominated Tikun Olam for a Koufax Award as Best New Blog for 2003 (click here to read about all the nominees in this category). The Koufax Awards were founded by Dwight Meredith and his blog collaborators at Wampum to celebrate the best lefty blogs.

So where did they come up with the name? Well, Sandy was one of the great lefties so it seem only fitting and right to name the awards after him. I’ve asked Dwight to put up a graphic on his site with a Koufax photo. But Dwight’s a little intimidated by technology & hasn’t displayed the photo yet–too bad!

There are oodles of award categories and oodles of nominees. I’m just pleased just to be here (no, really I am).
