My family and I are about to close on a Craftsman style home in Midland Park, NJ. Small town in the northern part of the State, 13 +- mls. from NYC. Our plans are to keep as much of the original style on the exterior as built in the early 1900's, while modernizing the interior by utilizing a nearly unfinished second floor. The entire house, save for windows enclosing the front porch, ( we will remove those ) and an older kitchen redo, is original. We want to preserve the original history and character of the home, so fear not. This one will remain standing proudly.
